Birmingham’s Wyndy introduces new nanny service

Birmingham sitter app Wyndy is branching into a new area – offering long-term child care needs.

Wyndy Nanny is launching today, giving parents the ability to source, book, and pay background-checked child care providers.

Created in 2017 by parents Ginger and Tommy Mayfield, Wyndy is a mobile app helping families secure college babysitters. Earlier this year, the company expanded into Huntsville and Mobile.

Ian Diament, Wyndy’s Head of Growth, said the company is “thrilled” to expand its services.

“The integration of Wyndy’s on demand technology with our dedicated Wyndy Concierge team quickly connects families with amazing sitters,” Diament said.

Wyndy Nanny is available through the Wyndy app. By selecting “Find A Nanny,” parents can provide their specific child care needs.

The app’s Concierge team then connects families with qualified, background-checked sitters who fit the requirements. Parents will have the opportunity to interview the suggested sitters to find the perfect match, according to the company.

Wyndy currently operates in eight states across the Southeast, including cities such as Birmingham, Nashville, New Orleans, Memphis and others.
